The Password Clear switch allows the user to clear the CMOS and password in the case of a system BIOS malfunction or forgotten password. To clear the CMOS password: 1. Turn off power to the unit. 2. Move switch S2 position 1 to On. 3. Wait approximately 5 seconds. 4. Move switch S2 position 1 to Off.
