mounted to a metal sheet in a cabinet or on an enclosure wall with fastening screws every
100 mm, to ensure a good chassis ground connection. The modem has a snap locking device
that attaches it to the mounting rail. It is possible to mount the modem both vertically and
horizontally. To mount the modem, place it on the top edge of the DIN-rail, release the rail latch
with a flat screw driver and snap the bottom mechanism into place. When the unit is in place on
the DIN-rail and in vertical position, take away the screw driver and the rail latch will
