It is a module in the Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) architecture, designed to provide a reliable process control and security system. The module has three independent input channels, and each channel has an independent signal conditioner. It can accept 0-20 mA and 4-20 mA current signals and convert them into digital signals for further processing.
The module has built-in fault detection function, which can detect the difference between channels and the fault of a single channel. If a channel fails, T8403 will automatically shield the channel to ensure that the remaining channels are still available. In addition, the module also supports online hot backup and can be replaced without shutdown to improve the reliability of the system.
